Job Summary The Shipping/Receiving Worker is responsible for managing and safely operating the bagging and rework area. This role ensures compliance with plant rules, safety regulations, and established warehouse processes while supporting inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Key Responsibilities C omply with all plant rules, safety regulations, and attendance policies. Maintain good housekeeping and a clean, orderly work area. Operate bagging, rework, and robot wrapping equipment safely and efficiently. Review and follow established warehouse and shipping processes. Support inventory management, including pallet tracking, cycle counts, rework, and customer returns. Collaborate with other departments on customer returns, product integrity, and finished goods production. Identify and address quality or damage concerns to prevent recurrence. Perform waste management, recycling, and chemical usage/disposal in compliance with environmental regulations. Use cleaning equipment and tools as needed for housekeeping duties. Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance. Capability to work up to 12+ hours in hot/cold manufacturing environments. Ability to walk/stand on concrete floors continuously for up to 12 hours. Strong adherence to safety practices and use of required PPE (steel-toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, long-sleeved shirt). Willingness to work overtime as nec essary. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Previous forklift experience (preferred but not required). Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. Certifications (if any) Forklift certification (preferred). Education: High School Certification: Forklift Certification
