Position Summary
The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately storing products, preparing customer orders for shipment, and ensuring all shipping activities are completed according to established processes. This role supports warehouse operations while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Accurately store and organize products within the warehouse.
- Prepare customer orders for shipment according to company procedures.
- Label and meter packages using various freight systems.
- Process orders through the warehouse ERP system.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Complete daily preparations for upcoming shipping activities.
- Support company initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Dress Code Requirements- Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times.
- Long pants are required; shorts are not permitted.
- Pants must be worn at waist level, and undergarments must not be visible.
- Hats of any type are not allowed.
- Hooded sweatshirts are permitted; however, hoods must remain down.
- Tank tops and cutoff shirts are prohibited.
- Shirts with offensive slogans, pictures, words, or images are not permitted.
- Sunglasses are not allowed on the warehouse floor.
