Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Station Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, NC. Responsibilities
- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with team members to manage shipping schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Utilize shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to resolve shipping issues.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in FedEx or UPS shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
