Job Title: Shipping Supervisor
Pay: $25.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

As a Shipping Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient warehouse distribution, inventory management, and materials handling. Your leadership will keep our operations running smoothly, on time, and safely. You’ll work closely with a team of supervisors, managers, and production staff to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing material and time for the entire department, ensuring maximum equipment functionality
  • Achieving productivity goals by preparing materials for each shift to complete work orders
  • Developing department leads and team members with problem-solving skills and adherence to departmental standards
  • Utilizing shipping dashboards for analytics and action planning
  • Directly scheduling all department jobs to meet deadlines
  • Managing time and scheduling to ensure continuous production and prompt shift starts
  • Ensuring next shift is prepped for a quick start by organizing materials and tasks
  • Tracking run vs. expected hours and driving productivity to meet packaging time goals
  • Collaborating across departments for quality improvement and workflow efficiency
  • Conducting inventory counts and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively as they arise
  • Communicating with engineers, managers, and staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Managing inventory, parts, and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality standards
  • Participating in recruitment and workforce planning to build a strong team
  • Providing quality control through parts inspection and defect prevention
  • Supporting safety, quality, and operational standards at all times

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • The ability to read prints and technical documentation
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to multitask effectively
  • Self-motivation and organizational skills to maintain an efficient department
  • Good basic math and computer skills

Location & Schedule:
