Now Hiring in Hayward, CA! Thermionics Laboratory Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping/receiving operations, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and drive safe, efficient warehouse flow. This role supervises shipping associates, coordinates outbound shipments, and partners with production/quality to meet customer requirements.

Pay: Salary $68k a year
Shift/Schedule: 6am-2:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping operations: staging, packaging, labeling, and outbound scheduling
• Supervise and train team members; assign work and monitor productivity
• Ensure shipment accuracy (counts, documentation, special packing requirements)
• Coordinate carrier pickups and maintain shipping logs/records
• Support receiving as needed and maintain organized inventory locations
• Enforce safety practices, PPE, and housekeeping (5S)
• Use shipping systems (WMS/ERP), scanners, and email to communicate priorities

Qualifications

• Prior shipping/receiving experience with 1+ year in a lead/supervisor role preferred
• Experience with common carriers (UPS/FedEx/LTL), BOLs, packing lists, and labeling
• Forklift experience (certification a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable in a production/warehouse environment; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
