Responsible for the day-to-day production activities with a primary emphasis on Safety, Health, & Environmental compliance and production performance.
Complete safety observations, recognize and address potential issues as they arise
Manage all shipments of material by rail and truck
Manage treated inventory on a First in, First Out (FIFO) basis.
Maintain housekeeping for areas supervised.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; BS in Wood Science or Business preferred.
5 years of experience in lieu of a degree would be considered.
Relevant industrial supervisory experience; management experience in the timber industry preferred.
Safety, health and environmental awareness
Strong organizational, teamwork and communications skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Prior union experience is preferred
