We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor. This position will be based in Wendell, NC. Reporting to the Plant Logistics Manager, the Shipping Supervisor will lead the shipping activities at the new Siemens PACS plant in Wendell, NC. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure compliance with shipping processes for domestic and international shipment, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Maintain shipping staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols Respond timely and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries Conduct short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demand Ensure shipping staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Monitor shipping workflow indicators and respond to exceptions Troubleshooting complex inventory and shipping errors.
