Shipping Supervisor

Now hiring! We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee all shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong logistics experience who can supervise shipping personnel, ensure accurate and timely shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production operations.
Job Duties
  • Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor shipping staff while ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Verify shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping and packaging supplies.
  • Assist with packaging and shipment preparation as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company delivery vehicles when required.
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Quality departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor shipping schedules and prioritize urgent orders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company policies.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce shipping errors.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
  • Experience managing shipping personnel and warehouse operations.
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures.
  • Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL freight carriers.
