Shipping: Order Picker & Bill Of Lading Administrator
Pay: $15–$17/hour (based on experience) Bonus: Up to $250/week after 30 days Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Typical Hours per Week: 45-60 Hours
Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual role that involves both physical order picking and administrative responsibilities related to shipping documentation. The ideal candidate will have tow-motor (forklift) experience and be comfortable using a computer to manage and process bills of lading.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and stage customer orders
- Operate tow-motors and other material handling equipment safely
- Process and administer bills of lading
- Enter shipment information into our system with accuracy
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Tow-motor (forklift) experience is a huge plus
- Prior experience with bill of lading processing is preferred
- Moderate computer skills (data entry, basic software use)
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Compensation & Schedule Details:
- Competitive hourly wage ($16–$17/hour based on experience)
- Eligible for up to $250 in weekly performance bonuses after 30 days
- Hours are recorded Friday through Thursday (not Monday–Sunday as in most companies)
- Overtime is earned after 40 hours within this Friday–Thursday cycle — meaning it typically occurs midweek (Tuesday–Thursday), rather than on weekends
- Pay is issued weekly, every Friday, for the previous Friday–Thursday work week
- Typical work weeks are 50–60 hours
