Hire Sync is hiring an experienced Shipping & Warehouse Associate for a well-established Cleveland manufacturing operation specializing in metal products and components.

This is not an entry-level warehouse position. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working with metal products or materials and understands the accuracy, organization, and safety required when pulling and preparing industrial orders for shipment.

The right candidate will be comfortable operating a tow motor, pulling orders, packaging metal products, loading and unloading trucks, and using a computer to process and track shipping information. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team, so being dependable, taking direction well, and working as part of a team are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Pull and stage metal products and materials according to customer orders
• Accurately identify parts, products, quantities, and materials before shipment
• Package, wrap, label, and prepare orders for safe shipment
• Process UPS and FedEx shipments
• Use computer systems to enter and retrieve shipping and order information
• Prepare shipping labels and related documentation
• Safely operate a tow motor/forklift to move metal products and materials
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy
• Assist with receiving and properly putting away materials
• Organize and stage completed orders for shipment
• Perform basic counting and math calculations to verify order quantities
• Help maintain accurate inventory and organized material locations
• Communicate discrepancies, damaged materials, or order issues to the appropriate team member
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse area
• Work closely with other warehouse and production team members to keep orders moving on schedule

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with metal products, metal materials, steel, pipe, fittings, hardware, or a similar industrial product is REQUIRED
• Previous shipping, warehouse, order pulling, or material handling experience
• Tow motor/forklift experience required
• Strong computer skills are REQUIRED
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping processes preferred
• Good math skills with the ability to accurately count and verify quantities
• Strong attention to detail when pulling and preparing orders
• Ability to read and follow pick lists, shipping paperwork, and work instructions
• Comfortable handling and working around heavier metal products
• Ability to take direction and follow established procedures
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Safety-minded and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
