The role
The Shipping Coordinator ensures accurate, timely, and efficient preparation and shipment of products while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Verify outbound shipments and ensure products are properly staged and ready for loading
Pick, re-skid, and transport materials using a forklift
Inspect trailers for cleanliness and load product efficiently and safely
Confirm order accuracy, recount product, and complete shipping documentation (weights, seals, trailer numbers)
Check in drivers and verify correct shipments
Prepare UPS parcel shipments and stage deliveries
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Follow and enforce GMP and food safety standards
Qualifications & Skills
Warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred
Forklift operation experience (certification provided)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently
Reliable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Frequent forklift use and movement throughout shift
Comfortable using warehouse tools and systems (scan guns, shrink wrap, computer systems)
