We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping / Will Call Associate to support daily shipping operations, customer pickups, and material movement at our Waipahu, Hawaii facility.

About the Role

The Shipping / Will Call Associate is responsible for preparing outgoing orders, coordinating will-call pickups, loading and unloading materials, verifying shipping documents, and ensuring products are handled safely and accurately. This position works closely with production, inventory, logistics, drivers, and customers to maintain an organized shipping process and ensure orders are completed on time.

This role is important to the overall success of the facility because it directly supports customer satisfaction, accurate order fulfillment, and the timely movement of finished products.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, stage, and verify outgoing products according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage will-call orders to ensure accurate, timely, and professional customer pickups.
  • Load and unload trucks safely while verifying materials against packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, completeness, labeling, and proper packaging.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and internal documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, supervisors, and internal departments.
  • Assist customers and drivers during will-call pickups while following company safety and service procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to resolve shipment discrepancies or order issues.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with company safety procedures.
  • Handle, move, and stage window, door, glass, aluminum, or related manufactured products as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and will-call area.
  • Follow all company policies, OSHA safety standards, warehouse procedures, and material-handling guidelines.
  • Report damaged products, missing items, incorrect orders, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Support additional shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or facility tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling.
  • Basic understanding of shipping documents, packing lists, purchase orders, labels, and inventory processes.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment; forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify order accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, drivers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and stage materials as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, construction material, window, door, glass, or aluminum environment.
  • Current forklift certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory software, shipping platforms, or warehouse management systems.
  • Experience coordinating customer pickups or will-call orders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders at one time.
  • Ability to work overtime or flexible hours as needed based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the position.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive warehouse movements.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, materials, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to follow all required personal protective equipment and safety procedures.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Waipahu, HI. The schedule may vary based on business needs, shipping demands, and customer pickup requirements. Overtime may be required as needed.
