As a Shop Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for reading detailed drawings and assembling tools and assemblies designed to meet the requirements defined by the customer. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as attention to detail to ensure the specs of each custom-made product meets the highest level of quality. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive atmosphere within the shop. This person must be flexible to work as part of a team of assembly technicians, while also being able to self-manage their time to stay on task.
Work Conditions/Physical Requirements, Location & Hours
This is a permanent full-time, non-exempt position (40 hours per week, eligible for overtime). The Shop Assembly Technician will work on-site at our shop location in Auburn, WA. Work hours may vary based on customer and department need but will primarily be 8-hour days Monday through Friday. Some local travel may be required to perform maintenance on our tools around the greater Seattle area, as well as occasional travel to customer locations in other areas of the United States. While travel outside of the greater Seattle area is rare and based on customer need, it may be requested, if needed. Some lifting will be required, up to approximately 50 lbs. There is no option for remote work in this position.
Responsibilities
This valuable role strives to ensure customer satisfaction. As a critical part of the assembly process, the Shop Assembly Technician will ensure that parts and tools are accurately assembled in a timely manner so service level agreements can be maintained. The successful Shop Assembly Technician will be an organized self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail to ensure all assembly operations are consistently executed with minimal errors and delays.

Compensation
Starting Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance and individual merit raise based on individual performance and tenure.
