Shop Foreman | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Shop Foremans. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the daily operations of the manufacturing shop floor.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of skilled technicians and production staff.
  • Ensure efficient workflow, optimal resource allocation, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production planning to optimize processes and resolve issues.
  • Manage inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts to support continuous operations.
Recommended Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with various hand and power tools, as well as manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
