About Us: We are a full-service truck and equipment repair facility specializing in diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Our shop supports a mix of fleet customers and independent operators, and we’re committed to fast turnaround times, quality workmanship, and a safe, team-oriented environment.
Position Summary: We’re looking for a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead our technicians, manage shop workflow, and keep jobs moving efficiently. This role requires strong diagnostic ability, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of diesel trucks and heavy equipment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the shop and coordinate technician workload
Assign and prioritize repair orders for trucks, trailers, and equipment
Assist with advanced diagnostics (diesel engines, electrical, aftertreatment, hydraulics)
Ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance
Communicate with service advisors and customers on job status and approvals
Order parts
Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve productivity
Step in on repairs as needed to keep workflow moving
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in diesel truck and/or heavy equipment repair
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems (DPF/DEF), hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics
Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
Ability to read diagnostic software and service manuals
Strong organizational and communication skills
CDL preferred but not required
Preferred Experience:
Fleet maintenance environments
Class 6–8 trucks and trailers
Construction or agricultural equipment
Welding/fabrication skills (a plus)
