About the Role:
This position is responsible for cleaning and organizing the shop as well as assisting the Shop Manager and Shop Technicians in their daily duties.
Responsibilities:
• Complete all safety training.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Receive inventory and check against purchase orders for discrepancies.
• Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill such as supplying or holding materials or tools.
• Cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Assist with duties related to the work environment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists/cranes.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• Paint and package products to prepare for pick up by shipping vendors.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicant will be subject to drug and background screening.
• Applicant must have reliable transportation.
• Read and write English for both instructions and reports.
• Applicant must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in outside and in a climate-controlled environment.
• Applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Applicant must have the physical stature to perform their duties for 8-12 hours per day.
• Pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Check are required.
