Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Shop Helper to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. This position supports skilled craftsmen with daily fabrication and production activities while assisting with material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a safe, organized shop environment.

Required Experience & Skills
Basic fabrication shop experience preferred
Ability to safely operate or learn overhead cranes and power tools
Ability to read and write basic shop communications
Ability to accurately use a tape measure
Willingness to learn to read shop drawings and bills of materials
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist craftsmen with assigned fabrication and production tasks
Work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment, and other industrial machinery
Support daily production while meeting established productivity requirements
Maintain workmanship that meets company quality standards
Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
Participate in and maintain 5S housekeeping standards
Work as a professional team member while supporting project completion in a timely and efficient manner
Provide input that contributes to improved safety, quality, and productivity
Perform additional shop and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
Experience operating overhead cranes or other material handling equipment
Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings and shop practices
Mechanical aptitude with a desire to expand fabrication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding fabrication environment
Work Environment
Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
Safety-sensitive position requiring strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures
Exposure to overhead cranes, forklifts, fabrication equipment, automated machinery, and industrial production processes
