Shop Helper

Summary: Responsible for safe, and effective general shop support. Primary Responsibilities:

• Support daily shop operations by assisting production and manufacturing staff as directed.
• Load and unload materials, parts, and finished goods at workstations.
• Assist with basic machine setup tasks under supervision (material loading, cleaning, staging).
• Perform simple visual inspections to identify obvious defects or damage.
• Deburr, clean, label, and package parts according to work instructions.
• Assist with basic assembly, finishing, or secondary operations as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Follow established quality, safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and production coordinators regarding task status and instructions.
• Deliver materials, tools, and paperwork to appropriate departments as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
