Description: Shop Helper - Summer Helper (Temporary)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6: 00 AM to 4: 30 PM
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
We are seeking a Summer Helper to provide general support across multiple production departments, including Fabrication, Assembly, and Paint/Blast. This temporary position is designed to assist with increased production demands during the summer months and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist team members across departments with general labor tasks
Move materials, parts, and equipment throughout the facility
Stage materials and parts for production jobs
Support loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials
Assist with basic production and preparation tasks under supervision
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
Perform routine shop cleanup, including sweeping, organizing, and trash removal
Complete non-production painting projects using brushes and rollers, including:
Safety line markings
Designated safety zones
Fire extinguisher and safety equipment identification areas
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain reliable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Must meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
