SHOP HELPER – ENTRY-LEVEL MECHANICAL

Location: Spring, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Openings: 2

We are hiring two dependable Shop Helpers to support Mechanical Technicians with equipment cleaning, preparation, and general shop duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in industrial or mechanical work while gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians with the disassembly and assembly of equipment
• Clean heat exchanger plates, mechanical parts, and shop equipment
• Prepare materials, tools, and workstations
• Perform basic grinding, wire brushing, and parts washing
• Move equipment and parts throughout the shop
• Help load and unload trucks
• Organize materials, parts, and inventory
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other general shop duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least six months of warehouse, shop, construction, or general labor experience preferred
• Mechanical interest and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Comfortable working in an industrial shop environment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Able to lift more than (50 lb)
• Able to stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
