Shop Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, action-driven Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing golf cart dealership. This individual should thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment and bring strong organizational skills, accountability, leadership, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across Parts, Service, and Preventive Maintenance programs.

• Manage inventory processes, including ordering, tracking, replenishment, and random stock audits.

• Coordinate work orders, schedules, and follow-ups to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

• Monitor personnel daily to ensure employees remain on task, meet timelines, and maintain productivity standards.

• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to departmental leads and technicians.

• Conduct regular team briefings and monitor daily performance metrics.

• Ensure supplies, tools, and equipment are properly organized, maintained, and replenished.

• Foster a positive, service-oriented culture focused on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

• Build strong professional relationships with customers and internal team members.

• Prepare clear and professional written communications, including emails, reports, and memos.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational efficiency.

• Maintain a high level of organization, follow-through, and accountability across all operational functions.

Qualifications

• Natural leader who takes initiative and performs well in a fast-paced, structured environment.

• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

• Emotionally intelligent with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage teams effectively.

• 2+ years of experience in automotive or golf cart service operations preferred.

• Experience with inventory control, logistics, and process management.

• Comfortable using service management and/or inventory tracking software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to independently compose professional emails, reports, and other business communications.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

• Valid Puerto Rico driver's license required.

Required Experience

• Supervisory experience: 2 years required

• Work order and task scheduling: 1 year required

• Inventory management: 2 years required

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $40,000-$45,000 per year, commensurate with experience
