Paschall Truck Lines, Inc., an employee-owned freight carrier primarily consisting of company-owned tractors and trailers, is looking for a Shop Managerto lead their team in Indianapolis, IN.

If you have 5+ years of vehicle maintenance management experience, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Prior technician/mechanic experience highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, educate and develop employees: up to 10 full time employees – across 7days a week, 3 shift operation.

• Supervises all departmental staff

• Monitor employee’s performance and be accessible to all areas of the shop

• Plan daily manpower to meet workload – Providing assistance to the team when workload demand exceeds manpower

• Provide support to the operations team regarding all equipment related issues

• Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies

• Ensuring the shop is safe, clean and OSHA compliant

• Address all corrective action regarding direct reports

• Monitor equipment sent to outside sources for repairs

• Coordinate all shop staffing requirements including hiring, employee relations, scheduling, etc. in accordance with company, state, local and federal rules and regulations
