What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily repair shop operations and service department performance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance

  • Manage shop personnel, workflow, scheduling, and productivity

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify service recommendations

  • Ensure customers receive accurate repair recommendations and exceptional service

  • Monitor shop efficiency, technician productivity, and repair quality

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Promote safety standards, operational excellence, and a positive team culture

  • Support profitability, customer retention, and continuous process improvement

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience managing an automotive, diesel, fleet maintenance, or repair shop operation

  • Leadership experience supervising technicians, service advisors, or shop personnel

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills

  • Experience overseeing shop workflow, scheduling, and productivity

  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced service environment

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Professional and customer-focused approach
