Shop Mechanic II

Rebuild, maintain, repair and troubleshoot heavy mobile equipment. Order parts, and maintain record of tasks performed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Train and mentor others as needed.

• Rebuild heavy mobile equipment. Inspect and evaluate parts and components for reuse.
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot heavy mobile equipment. System expertise include engines, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC and power train.
• Keep up to date with current technical mobile equipment documentation and train others as needed.
• Complete all documentation such as work order service reports, part orders, and maintenance reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience: 5+ years experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment

Required Licenses & Certifications:

Technical Competencies:

• Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds.
• Ability to safely repair and maintain heavy equipment
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, reach, or climb.
