Shop/Mobile Service Technician

Job description:

Diesel mechanic technician for Kubota, Polaris and agriculture equipment. Responsible for implementing a basic diagnosis and marketing repairs on agriculture implements. Perform assembly, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities:

·         Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on Polaris, Kubota and some agricultural equipment

·         Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge

·         Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns and documents on work order

·         Learns/Maintains current knowledge of Kubota and competitive products

·         Maintains a clean work area and condition of tools and equipment

·         Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

·         Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

·         Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

·         4 years of experience performing service repairs preferred

·         Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures

·         Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and HVAC used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment

·         Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes

·         Proficient oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly

·         Basic Service Technician certification preferred

·         Personal tools including electronic diagnostic equipment is needed

·         High School Diploma

·         Trade school or other forms of training, and diagnostic skills and/or prior experience with ag equipment or diesel engines is a plus

·         Valid driver’s license is required and good driving record

·         Must have reliable attendance

·         Ability to use basic computer functions

Pay: $21.00 - $42.00 per hour
