The Shop Service Assembler's main responsibility is to assemble OPE products - Would be building all sorts of displays and outdoor power equipment: grills, zero turn mowers, push mowers, yard furniture, Agrifab, chicken coops, and more. Some personal or professional building experience preferred.

This would be a mostly days and weekends position. Preferably some experience working with this type of machinery. 20-25hrs a week.

Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00 Depending on experience.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

  1. Service Shop Assembler reports directly to the Service Shop Manager.
  2. Service Shop Assembler will have no direct supervisory authority.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Read and interpret specification manuals or assembly blueprints to assemble product accordingly.
  2. Perform quality control checks that entail inspecting, operating, and testing completed products.
  3. Align or position components needed for assembly, either by manual placement or by using hoists.
  4. Must be able to perform in a productive and positive manner with minimal supervision.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  6. Loading and unloading equipment, and machine assembly.
  7. Must represent Runnings in a professional and positive manner.
  8. May assist with routine small engine maintenance and repairs.
  9. Perform on-site evaluations and equipment demos.
  10. Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain proper certifications that may be required.
  11. Operate equipment such as forklifts, delivery truck, etc.

 

OTHER DUTIES

 

  1. Other duties as assigned by the Service Shop Manager.

  1. May need to work an irregular work schedule.
