Holt CAT in Anna, Texas is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment-Shop Service Technician.
This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Must have 3 years experience on heavy construction equipment.
The hours of the position are Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.

Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs.
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure.
- Ability to troubleshoot Tier 4 Final Emissions Systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot Exhaust Gas Recirculation Systems.
- Able to document all work orders properly.
- Diesel Tech Schooling is highly desired.
- Must have a steady employment history.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, approximately 5 times a day.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
