We are seeking a hands-on Shop Floor Supervisor in Harmony, PA with experience in welding/fabrication and machining. This person will be responsible for managing daily workflow on the shop floor, ensuring production goals are met, and serving as the go-to resource for welders and machinists.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise day-to-day operations of the welding and machining shop floor
-Monitor job progress and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
-Assist welders and machinists by answering technical questions and providing guidance
-Interpret and verify engineering drawings and blueprints
-Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed
-Collaborate with engineering and management to resolve production issues
-Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
-Train and mentor new employees as needed
Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in a metal fabrication or machining environment
-Proven experience in welding and/or machining
-Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
-Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage a team
-Good understanding of welding processes, materials, and safety practices
-Position is 2nd shift 3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri
Preferred but Not Required:
-Experience in lean manufacturing or production planning
-Welding certifications or machining credentials
