    We are seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in our fast-paced trailer maintenance and repair facility. This position is ideal for a skilled trailer repair professional with leadership experience who is passionate about safety, quality workmanship, team development, and customer satisfaction.

    As the Shop Supervisor, you will oversee shop workflow, coordinate trailer repair activities, mentor technicians, ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company procedures, and help drive operational excellence. If you have extensive experience in trailer maintenance, fleet repair, welding, fabrication, diagnostics, and shop leadership, we'd like to hear from you.

    What we are looking for:

    Shop Operations & Leadership

    • Review and prioritize work orders in partnership with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager.
    • Coordinate and assign repair work to trailer technicians to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.
    • Supervise, mentor, and support technicians at all skill levels, including A, B, C, and Trainee Technicians.

    Quality Control & Compliance

    • Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company SOPs.
    • Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed according to DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

    Parts, Equipment & Inventory Management

    • Collaborate with the parts department to identify daily parts needs and order specialty components as needed.
    • Manage shop equipment, including preventative maintenance, repair coordination, and purchasing recommendations.

    Team Development

    • Train, coach, and develop trailer technicians to improve skill levels and performance..
    • Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

      Required Qualifications

      Experience

      • Minimum of 5 years of trailer maintenance and repair experience.
      • 1-2 years of supervisory, lead technician, or shop leadership experience preferred.
      • Experience in a transportation, fleet maintenance, trailer repair, or service shop environment strongly preferred.
      • Must be available for 2nd shift 

        Preferred Qualifications

        • Associate degree in a technical, mechanical, or related field.
        • Technical certifications, vocational training, or industry-related credentials.
        • Previous experience leading trailer technicians, diesel technicians, or maintenance personnel.
