What You’ll Do as a Shop Technician: As a Shop Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians in the shop and occasionally in the field. You’ll receive hands-on training while contributing to the success of our client’s service operations.
Key Responsibilities – Shop Technician:
- Assist Service Technicians with inspection, service, and repair of rotating equipment
- Support shop service work including cleaning, labeling, painting, and preparing customer equipment
- Perform general shop housekeeping and organization
- Load, unload, and move tools, parts, and equipment
- Assist with service documentation and paperwork
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Participate in service meetings and training sessions
- Learn products, applications, and service processes through on-the-job training
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet service deadlines

Qualifications for Shop Technician
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Experience operating a telehandler and/or skid steer
- Technical or vocational coursework in mechanics or electronics
- Previous exposure to pumps, motors, or rotating equipment
