What You'll Do:
Executes training programs as set forth by the Regional and Corporate Training management team to guarantee safe, accurate, and timely preventative maintenance or repair of equipment in the shop.
- Responsible for all training of shop employees to maximize their efficiency, productivity, and development.
- .Assists and trains Technicians in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing tractors, trailers, and related mechanical components
- Serve as the primary trainer of shop employees; developing and executing custom training plans for each employee.
- Works closely with Shop Manager and Supervisors to ensure success of the training program while not disrupting ongoing maintenance operations.
- Executes new employee on-boarding process in coordination with Shop Management.
- Assists in the development and upkeep of corporate maintenance skillset training program.
- Assists with non-technical training such as leadership, conflict resolution, and other "soft skills"
- Coordinates with shop management in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the shop.
- Manages the shop preventative maintenance audit program
- Facilitates maintenance of company standards.
- Monitors repair order process for accuracy and completeness
- Facilitates a safe and efficient work environment
- Perform truck and/or trailer maintenance as required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
