Job Description Position Summary:
The Welder/Fabricator will perform MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, repair, and modification of industrial equipment and custom metal projects. Our client is a busy custom job shop — not production line work. Projects vary and include industrial equipment, repairs, custom fabrication, structural work, and specialty projects for customers across multiple industries. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong fabrication and welding experience to join their team.
Qualifications:
MIG welding experience required; TIG welding experience preferred Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications Experience working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment Dependable, motivated, and quality-focused Valid driver’s license required Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel Fabricate parts and assemblies from shop drawings and specifications Measure, cut, fit, grind, and assemble materials Operate fabrication equipment including saws, shear, brake, and ironworker Fabricate, repair, and modify industrial equipment and components Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy to specifications Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace Comply with applicable safety standards and regulations Perform other related duties as assigned Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Fridays 6am-3:30pm Pay:
