Job Summary
Openwork company, is searching for a mechanically inclined Valve Shop Worker. If you have basic industrial mechanical skills and are a team player, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assembling, disassembling and assist with repairs of valves and actuators
• Inspecting and testing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Execute general shop maintenance, clean up and other shop tasks as assigned
• Properly and safely use forklifts, cranes, measuring tools as well as basic and pneumatic tools
• Practice safety protocols around shop
• Wear proper PPE as expected by facility
• Practice basic math calculations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 2+ years of industrial mechanical experience
• Previous experience related to oil & gas valves, military aircrafts and equipment, and power plants
• Required experience to operate forklift, pallet jacks, overhead crane and other related material handling equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, and other employees
• Ability to lift 35-50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills required
• Basic math skills required
• Must complete and pass a basic mechanical aptitude test!
• Must be available to work overtime when needed
• Driver’s license must be active (not expired/no restrictions) - Required!

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
