Senior Shopify Plus Web Developer - home office based anywhere remote USA reporting to the Director of Technology based near Los Angeles / San Diego.  A nationally remote virtual team, this is a 6 year old dynamic, smart, rapidly growing health & wellness company.  Privately owned by an established Naturopathic Dr, with strong 1st party eCommerce sales, direct to consumer digital marketplace, for nutritional supplements, greens, detox shakes and services including health coaching membership and nutritional home lab testing kits.

Roles & Responsibilities:<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>

  • Develop and maintain the Shopify themes and scripts<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Integrate 3<\/span>rd<\/span><\/span> Party and SaaS platforms with each other<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Build and maintain websites, databases and applications<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    • Write clean, intuitive, maintainable code<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Work with the tech and marketing teams<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Maintain a high standard of excellence with best practices<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Qualifications:
      <\/div>

      <\/div>
      • Minimum of 4 Years of experience in Website Development, front end web developer <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Familiarity with eCommerce, specifically Shopify Plus<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • RestAPI, GraphQL, JSON and web authentication<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience developing for responsive layouts for a desktop, tablet, and mobile<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • SEO best practices, A/B and unit testing<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Knowledge of Responsive Design best practices<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail to execute with excellence<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Highly motivated problem -solver and self -starter, capable of working collaboratively in a fast -paced environment<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to communicate well, giving proactive feedback to peers and team
        <\/li>
      • Good organizational skills 
        <\/li>
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Business Systems or similar
