$20.41-$27.35 per hour; Initial placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 5 ($24.81/hr) for external applicants. Internal employees who have completed 14 and/or 20 years of uninterrupted service to the District, shall be granted a longevity step.

Length of Work Year

180 Total work days; 3.75 hours per day; Monday - Friday (9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.) This position will end on or before May 28, 2027.

Early Childhood Education - State Preschools (Crowell, Medeiros, Osborn, and Wakefield)

Requirements:

6 college units of Early Childhood Education coursework. This requirement cannot be waived. Please attach transcript(s) to application.

NCLB Requirement

To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the following three requirements: (1) pass the written test; (2) possess an AA degree; or (3) have at least 48 college semester units.

Test Date:

Testing information will be e-mailed to selected applicants once the vacancy is closed

Requirements at time of hire:

Valid First Aid and CPR/AED cards required, Health and Safety certification, proof of immunizations; prior experience in working with preschool age children; passing a physical involving pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying at time of hire.

State Requirement

Per SB792 - successful applicant needs to provide proof of Flu, MMR, and TDAP vaccinations.
