The Ocean City School District is accepting applications for the following position:

Short-Term Leave Replacement Middle School Language Arts Teacher

Location: Intermediate School

Effective Dates: September 2, 2026 through October 30, 2026

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey English certification or Elementary School Teacher w/subject matter specialization: Elementary/Lit 5-8 required
• Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies and classroom management
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Criminal History background approval, HIB training and proof of New Jersey residency required by all successful applicants.
