Short-Term Temporary (Casual) - Instructional Assistant

Job Description

The Instructional Assistant supports the delivery of summer courses by assisting the lead instructor with classroom activities, student engagement, and instructional logistics. This role helps ensure a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead instructor during class sessions and instructional activities.
• Support small‑group work, hands‑on projects, and discussions.
• Provide individual and group support to students as needed.
• Help maintain classroom organization, materials, and learning supplies.
• Support classroom management and promote positive student behavior.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and general instructional logistics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructional guidance and work collaboratively.
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable in a dynamic classroom environment.

Pay Range:

$23.00 – $27.00 per hour

For degrees earned outside of the U.S., a copy of your education equivalency, conducted by a nationally recognized evaluation service, must be included in your application.
