They are seeking a Showroom Coordinator to join their team and contribute to their success.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$28/hr - $30/hr DOE

Position Overview:
The Showroom Coordinator will support during peak days/hours, helping the showroom and design teams. The ideal candidate will be flexible and open to wearing many hats - assisting with entering orders, inventory processing, ordering samples, helping with prices, and helping to merchandise the showroom. This is an on-site position working 35 - 40 hours weekly between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for approximately 6 months at minimum. This person should be bright, tech-savvy, and have a poised demeanor when assisting high-level clients.

Responsibilities of the Showroom Coordinator:
  • Primary greeter of all showroom visitors.
  • Welcomes all showroom guests with gracious hospitality, in a warm, outgoing, professional manner. Guides the group to their meeting space. Provides directional wayfinding as guests get settled in & offers beverages.
  • Performs daily audit of the display areas and client presentation areas to ensure all products are in proper working condition, technology is functioning properly, dry-erase boards, surfaces, and glass doors are clean.
  • Responsible for supporting the upkeep and inventory of the business centers, amenities closet, which may include ordering and restocking showroom & office supplies.
  • Provides general administrative services to the client visit hosts to ensure the best customer experience.
  • Acts as a "troubleshooter" for the field sales employee during the customer visit; handling all requests with a sense of urgency and determination.
  • Anticipates, identifies own problems, and follows up with the best possible solution for the guests.
  • Acts a concierge, having knowledge of area events, restaurants, transportation, etc.
  • Learns general product knowledge and business literacy to provide impromptu showroom tours for guests and scheduled student group visits.
  • Anticipates and executes various special requests in a knowledgeable, courteous manner.
  • Assists the Showroom team to ensure Showroom facility standards are maintained.
  • Collaborates well with the Sales and Support team.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Outgoing, energetic personality and thoroughly enjoy working with people.
  • Ability to meet and work well with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Proven ability to screen and interpret visitors' needs.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new software programs.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Showroom Coordinator:
  • Experience with Salesforce or another relational database/CRM
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
