Responsibilities

Statement of Purpose

This position is responsible for transporting product between the Bob Evans Transportation location in Springfield and the third part warehouse partner in Fairborn.

Accountabilities

• Deliver trailers of product to Fairborn and customer loads to Springfield
• Shuttles empty trailers for cleaning as needed
• Manage yard in Springfield and Fairborn as needed
• Assist with fueling trailers
• Verify and check all temperatures of the reefer units on the trailers
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Check the trailer loads are secure and balanced per the company guidelines for safety and efficiency.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must possess a class "A" CDL Driver's License
