The Yard/Shuttle Associate Driver duties include moving vehicles for processing and prepping car for release to rail or haul-away carriers. Move vehicle from staging area to shipping bay location. (To include but not limited to washing vehicles, and conducting PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) to ensure quality standard are met.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Tasks:
1. Able to wash cars.
2. Drive vehicles to and from specified locations.
3. Ensure vehicles are available for work in the other areas.
4. Ensure vehicles are parked in proper locations.
5. Ensure yard quality standards are maintained.
6. Follow all safety guidelines and attend safety meetings.
7. Gases and drives vehicles through car wash.
8. Identify vehicles and insert documentation as required.
9. Inform Leads or Managers of significant departmental issues.
10. Keep Leads, Managers, and others informed of significant issues.
11. Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required.
12. Meet or exceed established production and quality standards.
13. Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location.
14. Must be able to follow directions.
15. Must read and match VIN numbers quickly and accurately to ensure movement of proper vehicles.
16. Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
17. Performs job in a safe manner.
18. Read and understand VIN numbers, repair orders, purchase orders, purge sheets, and other documents
to complete work.
19. Visually verifies that vehicle is damage free.
20. Work as part of a team.
21. Daily clean up.
22. May put throw in parts into vehicles.
23. Notify supervisor of any workplace hazards or unsafe conditions .
24. Participate in facility safety efforts by attending monthly safety meetings, report accidents and injuries
on appropriate forms, and communicates the procedure to all appropriate customers/vendors and AWC
personnel.
25. Understand policies, including but not limited to company safety policies.
26. Upkeep and maintenance of work area.
27. Other duties assigned by lead or manager.
