SUMMARY:
This individual will be responsible for the efficient and timely transportation of various size parts, components, and small equipment from Bismarck to Rapid City, SD 2 times a week, and from Bismarck to Williston, 2 times a week. This individual will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining safe working habits as well as complying with DOT and FMCSA laws and regulations. This position entails a 4-5-day work week, starting at 7:30 am and typically concluding by 5-6 pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shuttles various size parts, components and Small Equipment between Fargo, Bismarck, Minot, and Grand Forks ND following a strict schedule to maintain the timely delivery of the goods at the necessary locations
- Loads and unloads goods from truck and/or trailer at the correct locations
- Conduct pre and post inspections of vehicles daily and promptly report, and schedule vehicle maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate vehicle records, such as logbooks and fuel sheets
- Keeps equipment, vehicles, and work area clean and orderly
- Operates vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment, inside and out to a presentable level
- Completes all paperwork required for jobs, including all paperwork required by law
- Performs as directed by the Shuttle Truck & Facilities Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Driving these vehicles includes many hours of highway time during the early morning hours
- Requires a valid Class A CDL and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
- Must possess a current Medical Card or the ability to obtain one at time of hire
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Maintain excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must have excellent customer service skills, both internal and external customers
- Must have excellent organizational skills

PAY SCALE: $25-$32/hr DOE

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
- Requires loading and unloading which may require stepping up on to trailers and securing the load while maintaining balance.
- Must be able to withstand awkward postures of forward bending/twisting to lift goods.
- Requires the ability to lift 50-75 lbs. or more on a frequent basis.
