Northwood Club is a premier country club established in 1946 and located in Dallas, Texas, best known for hosting the 1952 U.S. Open. The Club was listed as #1 Elite Club in Avid Golfer Magazine's 2019 Private Clubs and named Best Overall Club in 2022-2024. The club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. Our staff consists of a wide range of professionals who are well recognized in areas of Tennis, Golf and Culinary.
The Club is looking for a shuttle driver to safely transport passengers from property to designated employee off-site parking facilities. Key duties include operating vehicles according to safety regulations, maintaining a clean vehicle, and adhering to strict schedules. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties:
Education/Experience: High school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in driving passenger vehicles or customer service is often preferred.
Language Skills: Fluent English is required. Effective communication to members, staff and between departments is required daily. Professional language and vocabulary will be used at all times.
Mathematical Skills: May be required: to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability: May be required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one and two step instructions; to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Physical Demands: Frequently sits; uses hands to finger, feel or handle; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, sits, talks or hears. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses: Must be at least age 18. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
