What Youll Do
Provide critical care to SICU patients with high acuity, including post-operative CABG, valve repairs, and aortic dissections
Manage patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other advanced invasive procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Float to other ICUs and SDUs as needed, maintaining flexibility in coverage
Monitor and manage patients on continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Document patient care accurately using Epic EHR system
Respond to emergency events as part of the Emergency Team protocol, if required
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Minimum 1 year of ICU or SICU experience in a high-acuity setting
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
Skilled in post-op care, invasive monitoring, and critical care procedures
Ability to work night shifts and respond to emergency events
