Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Sierra’s Social Co-op will work directly with the organic social creative team role to create scroll-stopping social campaigns for the tjmaxx of all things active & outside!  If you’re always on social, have big opinions on which brands have the best Instagram, or are the friend editing pics for the group – this job’s for you!  

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Social research – contributing trend, audio, and concept ideas to help keep our business current across social platforms
• Content planning – from ideation to content capture to editing!
• Shoot support – helping ideate and execute in store product shoots for organic social
• Photo & video editing for social

Additional opportunities, based on your interests:

While this roll will focus largely on organic social, co-ops on Sierra’s social team can flex their role to grow their skillset, based on interests into many parts of our business:

• Collaborate with stylists & fashion editing team to influence the brand’s seasonal style
• Paid social shoot and editing support
• Cross channel marketing (email, web) design and/or writing
• Audio / voiceover work 
• TikTok research / content planning

What we’re looking for:/ Passion for social media marketing!! 

/ Excited to collaborate and work with a team of designers, writers, stylists, content capture, etc.

/ Interest in trends, both on social/pop culture and active lifestyle

/Creative eye & a strong POV about how things look/sound/ Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization, and superior time management skills 

Nice to haves, not essential:

/ Great iPhone photo/video skills

/ Experience with the adobe creative suite

What you’ll get out of it:/ Learn about the unique business model of the TJX family of brands (Sierra, TJMaxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods & Homesense)/ Understand the role of social marketing plays in building consumer trust and brand love/ Be hands on & work in a collaborative team environment/ Develop critical professional & personal skills, including communication, building business relationships, time management, project management & analytical skills

This position has a starting pay range of $24 to $25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
