Graphicworks is a locally owned sign company focused on quality, integrity, craftsmanship, and customer service. Our work includes custom ADA signage, dimensional signage, vinyl graphics, wayfinding, architectural signage, and select exterior signage for clients in construction, education, healthcare, commercial, and public environments.
We are looking for a full-time Sign Installer who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and understands that a successful installation starts long before arriving at the job site.
This position is focused primarily on installation, but when not in the field, the installer’s main responsibility will be preparing for upcoming installs. That includes organizing tools, hardware, materials, paperwork, vehicles, and details ahead of time, so the team is not scrambling the morning of installation.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform on-site installations of ADA signage, dimensional signage, vinyl graphics, wayfinding signage, and occasional exterior signage.
- Represent Graphicworks professionally and courteously at client locations, construction sites, and active job sites.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, general contractors, and teammates regarding schedules, site conditions, installation details, and any issues that arise.
- Review upcoming installations ahead of time and prepare tools, hardware, materials, drawings, templates, paperwork, ladders, lifts, and vehicles as needed.
- Load and organize installation vehicles before the day of installation whenever possible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked installation vehicle.
- Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Work safely at all times and maintain clean, orderly job sites.
- Identify potential installation issues before they become problems.
- Assist with install-related shop preparation when not in the field.
- Help maintain the installation schedule, installation board, and communication around upcoming jobs.
- Work independently when needed and coordinate effectively with helpers or other team members on larger installs.
- Assist Estimating & Project Management with Site-Surveys if needed.
- Support the overall success of the production and installation team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sign industry experience required; installation experience required.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to take ownership of an installation. Communicates effectively with other team members.
- Professional, courteous, and presentable when representing the company.
- Safety-focused mindset and comfortable working in construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first approach.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings, layouts, sign schedules, and installation instructions.
- Ability to learn installation tracking software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational habits, especially around preparing for future installs.
- Experience installing ADA signage, dimensional signage, vinyl graphics, wayfinding signage, and occasional exterior signage.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, load, transport, and install signage, tools, and materials.
- Willingness to be on the go and travel locally throughout the Denver Metro area, with occasional travel beyond.
