Job Description:
Signal Processing Engineer
Location: Manassas, Virginia (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Certifications & Clearance: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
Role Overview
This position involves working in teams to develop embedded software in support of the US Navys sonar and anti-submarine warfare mission. The role will focus on developing models and algorithms in MATLAB and C/C++ to enhance sonar and other submarine systems. The objective is to implement optimized acoustic processing solutions within allocated processor and memory constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience: 5 years of professional experience is required. Candidates should have recent and relevant signal processing experience and agile methodology experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming, Linux, and Signal Processing is necessary.

The pay rate for this position ranges from $90.00 to $120.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
