Job Summary:
Provides leadership and oversight for multiple heavy civil construction projects, ensuring successful execution from project initiation through completion. Responsible for multiple project managers, project planning, resource management, staffing, schedule adherence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and employee development. 7-12+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience, with:
Demonstrated success leading heavy civil construction projects of increasing size, complexity, and responsibility
Significant experience managing all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, resource allocation, risk management, and client relations
Experience leading highway, bridge, earthwork, utility, municipal, transportation, or other heavy civil infrastructure projects
Demonstrated accountability for project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, productivity, and profit and loss management
Proven ability to lead project teams, mentor employees, and influence positive project outcomes through effective leadership and decision-making
Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, project controls, and industry best practices
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and solve complex problems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
Proficiency with HCSS, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, JDE, and similar construction management software
Proficiency using computers and mobile devices (Android/iOS), including Microsoft Office applications

Compensation*: $100,000 - $125,000 DOE
Benefits: All full-time salary employees are eligible to participate in Simon benefits as defined in plan documents.
