Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team with prior DirecTV Install. Meaning not necessarily working Directly for Directv but installing there services. Experience The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of various systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of technical processes and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our installations meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of fiber optic and Ethernet cabling systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct fiber splicing and ensure proper connections for optimal performance.
- Utilize electrical tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and troubleshoot equipment.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment setup and maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in fiber splicing techniques and practices.
- Strong electrical knowledge, particularly related to installation processes.
- Familiarity with Ethernet cabling standards and installation requirements.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Experience in field service roles, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively.
- Knowledge of telephone systems installation is a plus.
