Shift: 1st shift 8 am to 4pm

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility is to support simulation technologies and methodologies in the Froedtert Health Simulation Center with multi-disciplinary professionals. This role will run low, mid-range, and high fidelity simulations through the use of task trainers, patient simulators, standardized patients, and virtual reality. Independently operates, supports, maintains and troubleshoots simulation equipment, simulation room's computer and audio/visual equipment. Daily tasks include creating a realistic patient environment through collaboration with the simulation requester, subject matter experts and Simulation Team members and maintaining simulation equipment. Reports directly to the Simulation Center Manager. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Experience in healthcare and/or an interest in technology and its application in Healthcare education is required.

Knowledge and experience with computers, Microsoft Office applications, iOS programming is required.

Experience in healthcare simulation-based learning and high fidelity simulators, preferred.

Minimum of two years clinical patient care experience is preferred.

Knowledge in and experience with; medical terminology, basic medical supplies and equipment, preferred.

Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and troubleshooting is preferred.

Experience with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality software is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to quickly integrate technology principles.

Enjoy working collaboratively as a member of a team.

Disciplined to work independently.

Possess strong organizational skills required for time management and to prioritize multiple competing projects.

Ability to analyze and make decisions related to coordination of equipment, supplies, and general trouble-shooting of equipment/simulators.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
