Your IT Recruiter is seeking a highly skilled Simulation Operations Specialist to join their Simulation Operations team. This team plays a critical role in accelerating the development of new vehicle capabilities, identifying performance issues before on-road testing, and verifying system requirements. We are looking for motivated individuals who can contribute to this evolving team and make a significant impact on the organization’s success.
This role is currently remote but requires candidates to be located in the Bay Area and available to work onsite in the Los Altos office when it reopens.
Utilize 3rd-party and proprietary simulation tools to create scenario tests. Collaborate with stakeholders to design test sets and evaluate vehicle performance. Perform quality checks on new and existing test scenarios. Identify and recommend tooling improvements to enhance efficiency. Detect and report tooling bugs and inconsistencies. Develop and refine documentation and training materials. Triage incoming bugs and requests efficiently.

Requirements
1+ year of software development or programming experience in Python (open to recent CS graduates).
Experience in software QA/QC or programming.
Familiarity with simulation software, mapping software, or 3D applications.
Proficiency with the Linux command line.
Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar task management/documentation tools.
Prior experience in the autonomous driving industry is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
